Ingredients

  • 1 dl sødmælk

  • 13 gram Yeast

  • 40 gram Honey

  • 3 pc Egg

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 500 gram All-purpose flour

  • 150 gram Softened butter

  • 1 pc Egg for brushing

  • Sesame seeds

Instructions

  • Dissolve the yeast in the warm milk along with the honey.
  • Add the eggs and salt, and stir to combine.
  • Add the flour a little at a time and mix with a stand mixer for about 8 minutes.
  • Add the butter in small cubes, a little at a time, and knead until the dough is smooth.
  • Cover the bowl and let it rise in a warm place for 2 hours.
  • Divide the dough into 8 pieces and shape into buns.
  • Gently flatten the buns and let them rise for 45 minutes.
  • Brush with beaten egg and sprinkle with a little sesame.
  • Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (fan) for about 13–15 minutes.
